CTO
Technical leadership of a well-funded L2 protocol entering its scaling phase. Replacing the founding CTO who is moving to Chair.
Our client is an established L2 with significant TVL and a respected founding team. Series B closed in late 2025; the protocol is now scaling its core engineering, infrastructure, and developer-experience functions.
The incoming CTO will own technical strategy, architecture, hiring, and external technical communications.
What we are looking for
- Deep, hands-on experience with EVM-compatible chains and zk or optimistic rollups
- Previous CTO or Head of Engineering tenure at a recognised protocol or infrastructure company
- Strong external profile (conference speaking, technical writing, GitHub history)
- Comfort with significant token-denominated compensation
